Remember When… A Salsa Hangout!

Welcome to our ‘Remember When…A Salsa Hangout’ page.  So, the question is, what is “Remember When…A Salsa Hangout?”

Well, I have been teaching dance, primarily Salsa for a while now.  And over the years, I have been fortunate to meet many amazingly wonderful people who have become our family.  So this is a Saturday Salsa night in Guelph for you to hanging out with your Salsa dance friends that you haven’t seen for a long time (or to make new friends).  This is a Saturday Salsa Night to hang out at the Kizomba Lounge, chat, sometimes dance, or just sit quietly listening to nice conversations all around you.

So come check out this unique Salsa evening on Saturdays that starts with a mini-social @ 7pm.  We hope to see you soon.  If you have any questions regarding the evening, please email us at any time, cheers!

Salsa Workshop and Performance: Saturday, February 9th '19

FDComm is proud to present a Salsa dance workshop & performance by dance champions German and Bethany from Nuvitzu Dance.

German’s Bio:
German started dancing in the spring of 2012, and quickly fell in love with the Latin styles of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Throughout the next years, German ventured into the social dancing scene in Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto, being exposed to different styles of Salsa, including Cuban, LA, and New York. In 2016, he joined Nuvitzo Dance and has been performing with their Salsa and Bachata teams as well as getting involved in competitions at multiple congresses in Hamilton, Montreal, and Toronto, for the past three years.
Bethany’s Bio:
Bethany has been dancing since she was 4 years old starting in Ballet and Acro, she then progressed into multiple dance styles such as Lyrical, Modern, Theater, and others. In the Summer of 2015, her love for dancing grew into Ballroom and started her
journey at The Ballroom Studio. From that point forward, she has been competing in International Latin and has proudly became an Ontario champion. During this time, she also discovered the Latin styles of Salsa and Bachata at Hamilton’s Salsa Soul’s waterfront and has never stopped social dancing to this day. Last year, she also begin competing in Salsa and Bachata at multiple dancing congresses in Toronto and Montreal.
